We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in diagnosing problems, delivering quality repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Summary

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive prompt, reliable service and effective comfort solutions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections, tune-ups, and system evaluations
• Service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and indoor air quality equipment
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options
• Test system performance and verify proper operation after repairs
• Accurately document service calls, diagnostic findings, and completed work
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions and service recommendations
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the company professionally

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot electrical components, and interpret technical information
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials as needed
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions, attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops when necessary
